The Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud inaugurated a new airport terminal for the Riyadh Airport on April 3. This terminal is one of the largest in the world and it is also known to be the busiest airports in the whole of the Arabian Peninsula. At the same time, it is also one of the busiest airports in all of the Arab world. King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is known to have made the investment in a major project of the royal family as well. This airport was initially built by a joint venture between two leading global car manufacturers.

The construction of this airport started after the construction of the port city of Maktoum. This port was very important because it served as the main entry point for trade between the Eastern and the Western regions of the world. Today, the airport serves as an entry point for all types of foreign visitors coming to the Kingdom. The King of Saudi Arabia is known to have visited this airport in the past years. His visit occurred only once but when he was there, the airport was already in full operation.

Some of the planes that took off from this airport contained a large number of passengers because they were going to Saudi Arabia on a religious pilgrimage. There were even some of the passengers who were coming from other countries as well.

In fact, there was so much traffic that the airport had to close down for a while due to lack of accommodation. Therefore, the Royal family of the Saudi Arabia had to fly from the Emirates Airline. However, when they landed in the capital city, the King of Saudi Arabia welcomed them with a great welcome.
